Preon Emitter
All Preons use the Cree XP-G R5's because they are the most efficient LED to-date. Efficiency means you get more light for the finite amount of electricity supplied by the batteries. This means brighter lights, longer running times, and less energy wasted in the form of heat. The Cree XP-G has reached unprecedented efficiency levels in the same class-power LED. In fixed lighting this is not as critical as battery-powered light sources.

Preon Coating
We developed a proprietary coating technology that retains the hardness of Type-III anodizing yet creating a rubber-like finish. This enhances grip while keeps the lines of the line simple and elegant. When you touch the surface, you will hardly believe that it's not rubber. This coating retains the needed heat dissipation properties where rubber would keep heat in and cause the LED to overheat.

Preon UI
The UI is unique and has never been implemented before. It's simple and easy to access basic low/medium/high modes, yet special modes are elegantly tucked away. There's lots of discussions and requests to keep and to remove special modes. We thought, hey, why not have both? So we devised a way to tuck the special modes away so that it only comes up when you want it to come up. Sometimes the simpler things are just better.

Preon Lego-bility
All Preons have interchangeable heads, bodies, and tails. Instantly convert and customize your light from 1xAAA to 2xAAA, from twisty to clicky, and from and to various color/finish/material choices. You can easily make your light your own by mixing and matching. Change it everyday if you like!

Preon Clip
We grew increasingly weary of cheaply implemented, unreliable clip-on clips. They just fall off, scratch your light, or worse yet cause you to lose your light (we've seen lots of these cases with other designs). Well, similar to the Quark, we decided it's either a good clip or no clip. Why have a weak, half-way solution? The Preons offer a sturdy stainless-steel clip that looks great and functions well. It can be removed and a keychain ring installed in its place if you prefer.

And last, but not least, all Preons are backed by a 10-year performance guarantee. If it breaks, we'll fix it. Short of intentional abuse, misuse, or modification, we've got you covered.

4Sevens提倡的OTF，一个个人认为比较崭新的去标签一个手电筒流明值的概念，是真是吹的真的要比过才知道了

(OTF)Out-the-front is the actual lumens measured out the front of the light. Not "bulb lumens," "LED manufacturer ratings," or "theoretical/wishful thinking" lumens that so many manufactures state.

How does our out-the-front lumens compare? Typically, manufacturers will over-state lumens 30-40%!!! This means our lights will out perform many lights that claim 40-60% more. Our Preon I with 70 lumens out-the-front rating will outshine some lights that claim 100-112 bogus lumens.

Our Preon II with 160 lumens out-the front rating will outshine 224-256 lumen lights. Just multiply our ratings by 1.4 or 1.6 on the high end. Try it for yourself!

估计是香港公司，国内生产，不过整家公司包装的就像老外公司

查了一下官方网，这个2AAA要65刀，1AAA的标55刀，超出购买预计了！
只有看的份了~~

照4Sevens的OTF解释，2AAA等於一般的手电224-256流明了，2AAA啊{:1_229:}

也有不是全Ti的组合，就头尾是Ti，像Lego，筒身有options可选，多色可选

Preon II Titanium Black

Please note that the tail is aluminum. The production light will have a titanium head and titanium tail. The body will be black anodized.

You'll need to pick up a titanium model to have the respective titanium body. Titanium bodies will not be offered separately.

Please also note that the straight clip is a prototype - the production clip will be the same as the clip on the titanium pictures above

的确是诱人了，不过相信发热量应该不小的！
看来这个R5，在小直上，以后还是很有潜力的！

值得留意的是，这手电的表面设计，真想亲手摸一下这是什么材质，有HAIII的硬度，又有塑料的质感......而且又不妨碍散热，介绍是这样介绍的，是吹的还是那么牛就天知道了
